We are raising our first fund, Proodos I

Proodos I will be a £50 million venture capital/private equity vehicle targeting a portfolio of climate smart renewable energy, sustainable agriculture and Healthcare businesses in sub-Saharan Africa.

Proodos I will be structured in Luxembourg as an SCSp. It will be a close-ended fund and will provide a range of debt, equity and quasi-equity finance to companies raising Seed and Series A tickets from £150,000-£5 million. 

Eligibility Requirements

1. Round: Seed and Series A.

2. Ticket Size: £150,000-£5 million

3. Stage: post-product, post-revenue with 1-5 years operations.

4. Sectors: renewable energy - sustainable agriculture - healthcare

5. Geography: sub-Saharan Africa, with initial focus on Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda and South Africa
